Land Development Coordinator (Full-Time Permanent)
Position Overview
We are seeking a qualified candidate with 2-5 years of relatable experience to join our team. The candidate will be able to comfortably collaborate with engineers, planners, and government agencies to earn success. Responsibilities include:
Prepare all materials necessary for submission to regulatory bodies for the property’s development
Determine required information for application submissions
Maintain project information and data
Manage relationships and interface on a regular basis with engineers, contractors, architects and colleagues on a variety of projects.
Maintain project scheduling
Assist in the project budget preparation
Co-ordinate with municipal staff and other approval agencies securities and clearances
Co-ordinate site milestone approvals (i.e. SPA, Registration, SDA, Assumption)
Attend required meetings pertaining to projects’ development
Track project actual costs against forecast and budget
Assist in due diligence processes
Maintain conduit of planning information with Regional, Municipal and Provincial agencies
Act as the key contact to stakeholders for land development projects until assumption
Be willing to travel and attend council or committee meetings as required
Maintain/organize projects digital and hard copy documents
Overlapping duties with the construction program as required
About you:
Strong organizational, analytical, communication and time management skills
Demonstrate a sense of urgency
Experience in land use planning with demonstrated knowledge of projects
Demonstrate an understanding of the Planning and Development processes
Able to work both independently and as part of a team
Ability to build rapport with stakeholders
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
2-5 years of relatable experience
Relevant Post Secondary education
Proficient in Microsoft Office, Outlook and MS Project (or similar)
This position requires the successful candidate to maintain a valid class G drivers license
